Fulham originally was an amateur football club named Fulham St. Andrew's Church Sunday School, established in 1879 by people of the church 'Church Of England' in Star Road, West Kensington. The club won the amateur championship 'West London Amateur Cup' in 1887. Then the name of the club a long cut to 'Fulham' only and this new name came into use in 1888.
